About Dr. Welkis
Ricky Welkis was born in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
There he worked in the family business as a property developer until the age of
23 when he suffered multiple herniated spinal discs in his lower back in 1991.
Rick’s condition worsened with time and no therapy seemed to work for long.
After nearly three years of medical treatment, chiropractic, physical therapy,
and even surgery, Rick sought the help of a local chiropractor by the name of
Scott Rosa. Dr. Rosa carefully examined Rick’s upper neck with specific X-rays
and Atlas Orthogonal analysis. With several adjustments, Rick was pain free.
After several weeks of care from Dr. Rosa, Rick was well
enough to concentrate on the rest of his life. He did so by completing his
undergraduate studies and moving to Marietta, Georgia where he completed his
Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in 1997. Dr. Welkis continues
to study and practice the Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic Technique that has
brought him and his patients health and wellness
